It's Not Too Late to Register for the Automotive Public Relations Event of the Year

    RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Sept. 10 Leading automotive
public relations professionals from numerous automotive suppliers and public
relations agencies will gather in Cleveland for the Fall Conference of the
Automotive Public Relations Council (APRC).  The event takes place Sept. 19-21
at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland.
    Attendees will learn from an all-star list of speakers who will address
important topics that PR professionals deal with every day, including:

    *  How to create an effective media training program
    *  Understanding the new Reg FD rules
    *  How to get your message heard on Wall Street
    *  How PR fits into your overall branding strategy
    *  How to create a more effective on-line newsroom
    *  How to more effectively merchandise your PR results
    *  Understanding the various and latest media techniques, such as Webcasts
    *  Top issues facing automotive parts manufacturers

    The event begins with dinner on Wednesday, Sept. 19 and ends at 11:30 a.m.
on Friday, Sept. 21.  In addition to the strong list of presenters, attendees
will have the opportunity to attend the Cleveland Indians-Kansas City Royals
game on Sept. 20.
    APRC is a professional organization for public relations practitioners in
all segments of the automotive industry.  APRC is part of the Motor &
Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), which represents and serves
manufacturers of motor vehicle components, tools and equipment, automotive
chemicals and related products used in the production, repair and maintenance
of all classes of motor vehicles.
