    SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 7 Today the Board of Directors
of GenCorp Inc. declared a quarterly cash dividend of three cents
per share on the issued and outstanding ten cents par value common stock of
the Company, payable November 30, 2001 to shareholders of record on
November 1, 2001.
