Visteon Supplies Renault in Europe and Mexico

    MEXICO CITY, Mexico, D.F., Sept. 6 Visteon Corporation's
facilities in Europe and Mexico have won significant business to
supply Renault with interiors products and climate control components.
    
    Since March 2001, Visteon has been manufacturing the instrument panel for
Renault's New Clio in the European market.  The instrument panel incorporates
a 'seamless airbag design' and is manufactured at Visteon's facilities in
Gondecourt, France, Medina de Rioseco, Spain, and in Villestellone, Italy.
Until recently, both these facilities manufactured the instrument panel for
the Clio's previous model.

    Recently, Visteon's Carplastic Plant, which is located in Monterrey,
Mexico, began producing the instrument panel top for the Renault Scenic model.
For the forthcoming Renault Clio in Mexico, Visteon will manufacture the
instrument panel at the Carplastics facility and the air conditioner hoses the
Queretaro facility in Mexico.  Production of these components will start in
November 2001.

    "This is a good example of how Visteon is able to service its customers
globally.  Visteon's Monterrey facility has worked closely with its sister
facilities in France and Spain to ensure a smooth transfer of production to

Mexico.
