Great American Products Receives Record Orders From Fall ASD/AMD Trade Show; Company Revenue In August Tops 1.4 Million
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas--Sept. 6, 2001--Premier Trade Show in the Collectibles/Mass Merchandising Industry
Dyna Group International Inc. (OTCBB:DGIX) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Great American Products, received record orders from the Fall ASD/AMD Trade Show held in Las Vegas during the week of Aug. 11, 2001.
Show orders are expected to exceed last year's numbers by 20%, the largest increase in the company's history. Held twice a year, the show attracts over 5,000 buyers from collectibles shops to mass merchants. The Company was also pleased to announce that in August revenue exceeded 1.4 million versus 1.1 million from August 2000.
Roger Tuttle, CEO, commented, "We are very pleased with the response we received from the Fall show this year. Four new products were presented with very positive results. Equally impressive were the positive comments from customers regarding the sell through of our product, our shipping and customer service they had received since the Spring show."
Tuttle further added, "Our new buckle designs, intended to appeal to the younger market, appeared on every buckle order written. A major retail chain kicking off the largest buckle program we have been involved with in recent years reported strong sell through and placed additional orders. The collector buckles market has been declining for many years and Great American Products, who has been a leader in buckle manufacturing and sales for over 25 years, is poised to take advantage of the rebounding of this market. We fully anticipate that the interest generated from the show will further assist in positively impacting our third and fourth quarter results."
Great American Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dyna Group International (DGIX), is recognized as the leader in the manufacturing and distribution of pewter sports licensed collectibles.
