Cruzita Minero of Phoenix Wins ``La Revelacion Del Ano Nissan'' Sweepstakes

    GARDENA, Calif.--Sept. 6, 2001--

Winner Will Receive 2002 Altima and VIP trip to Latin Grammy Awards(R) Show

    Nissan North America, Inc. today announced that Cruzita Minero of Phoenix has won the "La Revelacion del Ano Nissan" sweepstakes. As the winner, Ms. Minero will receive a new 2002 Altima and a VIP trip for two to the Latin Grammy Awards that take place in Los Angeles on September 11, 2001. In addition, she will be interviewed live on air by Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation , as well as appear in both an advertisement in the November issue of "People En Espanol" and in the wrap-up event coverage on Netmio.com.
    "I entered the contest at the dealership while I was waiting for my daughter to negotiate a price on the car she was buying and I never imagined that I would win," Ms. Minero said. "It is unbelievable that I have won an Altima and am going to the Latin Grammy Awards."
    Ms. Minero will be flown to Los Angeles on September 9 and will stay at the Renaissance Beverly Hills hotel. She will be honored at a special winner's reception and press conference at The Conga Room on September 10. On the 11th, Ms. Minero and her guest will attend the Latin Grammy Awards ceremony at the Great Western Forum where they will enjoy VIP tickets and a gala post-ceremony party.
    Ms. Minero will receive the all-new, third generation 2002 Nissan Altima that features a choice of 4-cylinder or V6 power, distinctive exterior design, sophisticated drivetrain and performance-oriented suspension. This larger, more powerful Altima will be available at dealer showrooms in September 2001.
    The sweepstakes ran from July 9 to August 11, 2001. Consumers were able to enter at participating Nissan dealers in Chicago, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco and Phoenix. They could also enter online by visiting the Latin Grammy Awards section of www.netmio.com and by filling out the entry form in the August issue of "People en Espanol."
