General Motors Expands Commitment to MRO Software

  MAXIMO Reinforced as North American Enterprise Asset Maintenance Standard;
Companies Expand Relationship Supporting Maintenance and Indirect
                        Material Procurement Processes

BEDFORD, Mass., Sept. 5 MRO Software, Inc. ,
the leading provider of solutions for maintenance optimization, industrial
supply chain planning and supplier enablement, announced today that General
Motors has expanded its commitment to the Company's leading
strategic maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) solutions. General Motors,
a MRO Software customer since 1994, recognizes the inherent value in
streamlining its indirect materials procurement processes to reduce structural
cost and improve equipment availability.

"This agreement further demonstrates General Motors' confidence that MRO
Software can deliver a supply chain solution that complements our indirect
material procurement process," said Clif Triplett, global information officer
for manufacturing at General Motors. "Our shop floor personnel have benefited
from MAXIMO(R), MRO Software's enterprise asset maintenance (EAM) system, and
see increasing benefit as we move forward together."

MRO Software is deployed in more than 120 General Motors' sites worldwide,
and serves as the North American EAM standard. MAXIMO enables General Motors
to easily automate and track preventive maintenance routines, work order
schedules, maintenance resources and indirect materials inventory. General
Motors is also leveraging MAXIMO Extended Enterprise's plant floor e-Commerce
tools, which are specifically designed to help organizations streamline their
supply chain all the way from the machines that drive the bulk of MRO spend to
the supplier's door. These tools will be deployed across more than 80 sites
in North America, with opportunities to expand internationally.

"As one of the largest industrial companies in the world, GM had the
opportunity to select any solution on the market, and we were the solution
that delivered," said Chip Drapeau, president and CEO of MRO Software.
"MAXIMO is currently driving the maintenance and repair on the demand portions
of GM's indirect material procurement, helping them gain maximum productivity
out of their asset base at minimum cost."
