September 5, 2001West Evans of Moorpark, Calif., who recorded his initial USAC WorldCom TQ Midget Car victory in July at Bakersfield, Calif., returned to victory lane Sunday night at Santa Maria (Calif.) Speedway in the first series race in seven weeks.
