SPX Corporation Selects New Home for Corporate Office
MUSKEGON, Mich., Aug. 31 SPX Corporation today announced that it has signed a letter of intent with Bissell Development, LLC to relocate its corporate offices to Charlotte, North Carolina. The company's new facility is presently under construction in Ballantyne Corporate Park and is expected to be completed by the end of April 2002. The architectural firm of Hickok Warner Fox has been selected to complete the interior design of the building. The company is working with the real estate firm, Julien J. Studley, Inc. of Washington, DC. SPX previously announced that it planned to relocate its corporate office. The company has extended relocation offers to the majority of its Muskegon- based employees. Commenting on today's announcement, John B.
