President Bush to Speak at Detroit Labor Day Picnic

    DETROIT, Aug. 31 President George W. Bush will speak to
union members and their families at a Labor Day picnic sponsored by the
Michigan Teamsters on Monday, September 3 at 2:00 PM at the Teamster complex
located at 2700 Trumbull Avenue in Detroit, Michigan.
    "We are honored to have President Bush stop by at our annual picnic," said
Michigan Teamsters Joint Council President Larry Brennan.  "We look forward to
an exchange of ideas on the many issues facing working families in this
state."
    Michigan Teamsters Joint Council 43 represents over 70,000 working men and
women throughout Michigan.
