Five Winners Selected in UnitedAuto Group 2001 Scholarship Program
DETROIT--Aug. 30, 2001--UnitedAuto Group, Inc. , a FORTUNE 500 automotive specialty retailer, offers a Scholarship Program which is designed to recognize children of UnitedAuto employees who are outstanding high school seniors as demonstrated by their academic achievement and community service activities.To qualify for the scholarship, each student must carry a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, have above average ACT/SAT scores, and be an active member of his or her school/community.
UnitedAuto Group is pleased to recognize the five finalists who have been chosen to receive $2,000 academic scholarships in the Company's 2001 Scholarship Program:
Clint Cappiello - Clint's father is an employee at DiFeo Nissan in
Jersey City, New Jersey.
Jennifer Page - Jennifer's mother is an employee of Infiniti of
Bedford in Bedford, Ohio.
Brooke Pierce - Brooke's mother is an employee of UAG's South
Central Region in Bryant, Arkansas.
Diana Solis - Diana's father is an employee of Scottsdale Acura in
Scottsdale, Arizona.
Jodie Yantachka - Jodie's father is an employee of United BMW in
Duluth, Georgia.
