MobileAria Appoints Alan J. Cyron As Executive VP And CFO
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--Aug. 29, 2001--MobileAria Inc., pioneer of True Hands-Free voice-enabled productivity services for the driver, today announced the appointment of Alan J. Cyron as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Cyron will apply his 25 years of financial experiences to help guide MobileAria through its service launch and anticipated growth.

Prior to joining MobileAria, Cyron served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Paragon Trade Brands, Inc., a $550 million NYSE consumer products manufacturer. While at Paragon, Cyron was responsible for managing the company's financial affairs, including operational finance, corporate planning, mergers and acquisitions, international joint ventures, investor relations, risk management, tax, treasury and information technology.

Before joining Paragon Trade Brands, Cyron spent more than 20 years with what is now JPMorgan Chase & Company. He was Managing Director of corporate finance-consumer products. Prior to that, he served in a number of capacities, including Managing Director/Manager of western U.S. corporate finance and Director of credit training.
Cyron holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and a BA in Finance from Georgetown University.
With an intuitive user interface that uses voice activation and text-to-voice technology, MobileAria's True Hands-Free productivity service is designed to allow drivers to access personal information and use email and location-based services responsibly while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. MobileAria's initial service offering is expected to launch in the second half of 2001.
