IQS Releases New Version 5.7 of IQS Business System(TM)

    CLEVELAND, Aug. 29 IQS, Inc. (http://www.iqs.com ) has announced
the release of version 5.7 of its IQS Business System(TM) software.  The IQS
Business System(TM) empowers clients to become more profitable and
competitive, and achieve ISO 9000, QS-9000 and ISO 14001 registrations faster
and at a lower cost.

    The company is internationally known for its IQS Business System(TM), a
comprehensive quality management software system designed to increase quality,
improve productivity and reduce costs.  The IQS Business System(TM) combines
the advantages of an industry standard architecture with flexibility and ease
of use.  The system consists of 16 modules, which are fully integrated
allowing data to be readily shared, thus eliminating duplicate data entry,
ensuring accuracy and consistency, minimizing errors, and reducing costs.
    The IQS Business System(TM) includes: document control, inspection, SPC,
skip-lot, GR&R, preventive maintenance, PPAP, APQP, FMEAs, control plans,
nonconformance, corrective actions, supplier ratings, training, skills,

    The enhancements released in Version 5.7 are concentrated in areas of
improved performance, ease of use and flexibility:
    *  Multiple Entity ID feature throughout the system to allow sharing of
key files across multiple plant locations
    *  Improved Color Coding for Reports
    *  Supports SQL Server 2000 database
    *  Quality cost can now be entered and posted within APQP, PPAP, and Audit
Manager
    *  Re-Design of APQP Module for user-defined steps, checklist, sign-offs
and approvals
    *  Can now view Customer ID, Supplier ID and Employee ID in one look-up
column
    *  Reporting with the IQS Business System is now web-enabled through
Seagate, IQS' preferred reporting system

    This preview is only a partial example of what the IQS Business System(TM)
5.7 has to offer.  IQS Business System 5.7 will be released September of 2001.
