DAYNE PIERANTONI, GM RACING PROGRAM MANAGER
SILVERADO RACING IN NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES

He doesn't have a fan club and you won't see him doing autograph sessions!
But, Dayne Pierantoni is the driving force behind the Silverado Racing
effort in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.  From wind tunnel testing,
sponsorship development and rules issues with NASCAR, Pierantoni is the
person behind the scenes in the Craftsman Truck Series.  His
responsibilities include developing a lineup of GM-supported teams,
assisting with technical support for Chevrolet teams, developing a
continuous aerodynamics program with testing, interfacing with NASCAR on
rules/competition issues, and working on various development projects with
teams.  Pierantoni joined GM Racing in 1999.  In 2000 he was named the
program manager for Chevrolet's participation in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck
Series.  Having received a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M
and a Bachelor of Science Electronic Engineering Technology degree from
DeVry Institute of Technology, Pierantoni brings a great deal of expertise
to GM Racing.  Not only is he an engineer, he has extensive knowledge of the
operational and sponsorship side of the sport.  He lives in the heart of
NASCAR country, Mooresville, N.C.
