Agilent Technologies' Testers Selected by Delphi Automotive Systems
PALO ALTO, Calif.--Aug. 28, 2001--Agilent Technologies today announced that Delphi Automotive Systems has completed the purchase of 11 additional Agilent 3070 in-circuit board-test systems. Delphi currently has more than 150 Agilent 3070 systems, placed in 11 manufacturing plants worldwide.Delphi uses Agilent systems to test and verify quality on key automotive products such as power train control modules, engine control modules, body computers, suspension controllers, airbag modules, anti-lock brakes (ABS), instrument and display clusters, and audio and multimedia components.
In 1998, Delphi's Manufacturing Technology Team (MTT), a committee of engineers from around the world, selected Agilent (then a part of Hewlett-Packard Company) as its prime supplier for in-circuit test systems.
The Agilent 3070 provides flexible test on a global scale. Its four key attributes -- agile test technology, worldwide business services, constant innovation and a position as the global standard in test -- give manufacturers the precise in-circuit test solution needed.
