ANXeBusiness Corp Announces Global Dial Up to ANX(R) Network

ANXeBusiness Corp Announces Global Dial Up to ANX(R) Network

New IP-based Pricing Model Designed for Small to Mid-sized Companies

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Aug. 28 ANXeBusiness Corp today
announced a new class of service enabling dial up connectivity to the ANX(R)
Network for a flat monthly cost. The dial up service will be available
globally, with initial roll-out in North America scheduled for September 30.
Pricing and availability for Pan-European and Asia-Pacific service will be
announced in the near future. As one of the most extensive global dial up
services in the marketplace, the service will cover 650 cities in more than
180 countries.
The ANX Network dial up service features flat-rate pricing and premieres
as the industry's only flat rate, low cost alternative to today's more
expensive VAN (value added network)-based communications.
Specifically, the ANX dial up service offers:

-- Flat rate, regional pricing (U.S. $49.95/month) across North America
       (U.S., Canada, Mexico).
    -- 56K (64K ISDN) bandwidth access
-- Access from 180 countries worldwide
-- Web download access and installation
-- Simple plug & play setup
-- Private, secure ANX network performance -- no line-busy frustrations
-- ANX network encryption, authentication and security
-- Entry into the growing ANX trading partner community of more than 900
companies and eMarketplaces, like Covisint, eSteel, and others

Users of the service will gain access to the ANX Network, the world's
largest multi-provider virtual private network (VPN), used by a collaborative
community of more than 900 companies to achieve reliable performance, complete
accountability and highly secure supply chain management. Users also will
gain access to ANXVelocity which provides network translation services between
Edifact, XML, RosettaNet EDI and other open or proprietary data standards.
"Pricing for such communications has traditionally been volume-based,
resulting in high profit margins for VANs but little flexibility for
customers," said Alex Preston, ANXeBusiness Corp president and chief executive
officer. "Flat rate pricing for up to 2000 transactions per month effectively
opens up the ANX network to companies looking to extend their global eBusiness
operations. This provides flexibility for suppliers and customers from
Europe, Asia Pacific and North America, enabling them to participate in a true
global eBusiness community."
Rather than paying for connectivity by the kilo-character, users will
benefit from flat rate pricing similar to that of service providers like
America Online. "Today consumers have unlimited access to the web for about
$25 per month," added Preston. "The ANX Network dial up service offers
similar economies for business class communications with none of the risk of
moving confidential, business-critical data over the public Internet. There
is a strong demand in the market for these services and we have a backlog of
450 companies who will be using the dial up service immediately."
While the ANX Network operates with IP (internet-based) protocols, it
operates separate from the public Internet. Thus, ANX trading partners are
immune to the quality of service and security issues commonly associated with
the web.
"The Code Red virus has had our telephones ringing all week," said Jim
Michels, vice president of marketing for ANXeBusiness Corp. "There are fewer
companies willing to risk their businesses to the public Internet this week
than there were last week. Our customers are not plagued by these issues, and
the ANX Network can offer them a reliable and secure environment to do
business, all for approximately $600 per year".

ANXeBusiness Corp, a subsidiary of Science Applications International
Corporation (SAIC), operates the ANX Network, which is one of the world's
largest multi-provider VPN. Today, a collaborative community of more than 900
companies use ANX Network services to achieve reliable performance, complete
accountability and highly secure supply chain management. Services offered on
the ANX network include both extranet and intranet services. The ANX Network
serves multiple industries, including automotive, financial services, health
care, railroads, steel, aluminum, rubber, high-tech and manufacturing. The
network is provided and managed by multiple world-class telecommunications
vendors, including Ameritech, AT&T, Bell Canada, Equant, Ideal Technology
Solutions and MCI WorldCom.

SAIC is the United States' largest employee-owned research and engineering
company, providing information technology, systems integration and eBusiness
products and services to commercial and government customers. SAIC engineers
and scientists work to solve complex technical problems in telecommunications,
national security, health care, transportation, energy, the environment and
financial services. With annual revenues of $5.9 billion, SAIC and its
subsidiaries, including Telcordia Technologies, have more than 41,000
employees at offices in more than 150 cities worldwide. More information
