NASCAR Trucks: 'Like a Rock' Award Update

August 28, 2001RICHMOND, Va.: Despite a rare 24th-place finish, 35 laps down, for Travis Kvapil at the Chevy Silverado 200 at Nazareth Speedway last Sunday, after 18 races of the 24-race 2001 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Addington Racing and rookie Kvapil, with 3211 of a possible 3280 laps completed in the No. 60 Cat Rental Stores Silverado, continue to lead Chevrolet¹s "Like a Rock" Award standings.
The Chevrolet "Like a Rock" Award, a $50,000 winner-take-all contingency award, is designed to recognize the "Longest Lasting Most Dependable" Chevrolet-equipped team in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series completing the most laps of competition during a season.
