INDY RACING: Qualifying Canceled At Gateway; Lineup Set By Points

Northern Light Cup points leader Sam Hornish Jr. will start from the pole and his closest pursuer in the points, Buddy Lazier, will start on the outside of the front row after qualifying for the Gateway Indy 250 was canceled due to rain and wet track conditions Saturday at Gateway International Raceway. The starting lineup was set by entrant points, in accordance with Indy Racing League rules. An Indy Racing Northern Light Series practice will take place from 1-2:30 p.m. (EDT) today, with final practice scheduled from 6-6:30 p.m.
