world’s most versatile racing tour is headed back to Berlin for race #18
of 25 events in 01. This year’s Pork the Other White Meat 200 will be
the 14th ARCA RE/MAX Series event at Berlin since the series first raced
there in 1958. Past ARCA RE/MAX winners at Berlin include Bob James with

Bowsher and Donny Morelock. In addition to Jarrett, this year’s entry
list includes an interesting mix of talent from 16-year-old rookie
Shelby Howard, who makes his career-first start at Berlin, to veteran &
2-time champ Frank Kimmel. Kimmel, who won his career-30th RE/MAX Series
race last Sunday in Springfield, has led 996 laps in 15 races already
this year. Tim Steele, the hometown favorite and defending race winner,
hasn’t raced since his victory at Pocono on July 28. Kimmel, Steele and
Mt Clemens MI driver Tracy Leslie are the only past champions entered.
In addition to Howard, Ed Wettlaufer, Brent Sherman, John Sadinsky, Mike
Burg and Jimmy Hollenbeck will all make their career-first start at
Berlin. From Berlin, the ultra-diverse ARCA RE/MAX Series travels to the
1.5-mile Chicagoland Speedway Sat, Sept 1 for the inaugural Chicagoland
