Digital Motorworks Honored for Business Innovation

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 24 Digital Motorworks (DMi) has won a
Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce Business Innovation Award for information
management leadership in the automotive industry.
The Business Awards were presented during ceremonies held on Thursday
night (August 23) at the Renaissance Austin Hotel. The chamber's "Out on a
Limb" Business Innovation Awards recognize three companies in different size
categories that have discovered consumer needs and met them through creative
innovation. Other winners of this year's awards were virtualcfo Inc. and
National Instruments.
"While DMi serves the automotive industry, Austin is our home and
continues to provide the company with great technical talent," said Keith
Jezek, DMi's CEO. "We are honored to be a recipient of this first Chamber of
Commerce award, and we look forward to more successes as we continue to expand
our service offerings and our Austin headquarters."
Award recipients were selected by a panel of anonymous judges, including
business and community leaders in the Austin area. Award criteria included
industry innovation, public image and reputation, and response to adversity.
"The Business Awards program honors Austin-based companies that not only
overcome barriers to success, but also exhibit a remarkable degree of
accountability to their customers, and demonstrate civic stewardship and
leadership within their industry, " said Mark Hazelwood, Chamber President and
CEO. "The program highlights the success of these businesses, which are
especially important to the stability of our local economy and the vitality of
the business landscape in Austin."
