ALEX JOB RACING, McKENNA PORSCHE LOOK TO MAKE QUICK TURNAROUND AT
HISTORIC MID-OHIO SPORTS CAR COURSE

Lexington, OH - August 24, 2001- Without any time to rest, the
Alex Job Racing, McKenna Porsche racing team headed due south
from the rainy weather in Canada to even more rain in Ohio.
Rain is being forecast all weekend, with thunderstorms being
predicted Saturday.

Driver Randy Pobst, who co-drives the #22 Alex Job Racing, McKenna
Porsche 911 GT3 RS with Christian Menzel, has quite a history here
at Mid-Ohio. "You can say I enjoy racing here," said Pobst.
"The first four times I raced here, I won the pole and won the
race. So yes, this is one of my favorite tracks. I'm glad the
American Le Mans Series (ALMS) was able to put this race together
on such short notice."

Driver Lucas Luhr, who shares the driving duties with Sascha
Maassen on the twin #23 McKenna Porsche-sponsored race car has
never competed here on the famous 2.25-mile 13 turn road course.
"I am looking forward to Saturday's race," Luhr said. With the
long straights and high-speed turns, it looks to be a fun place
to drive. I have seemed to do well on tracks that I have never
been to before, so hopefully that will carry over this weekend.
Sascha and I need a good finish here to stay on top of the
points lead."

Practice for the American Le Mans Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio starts
at 8:45 am Friday, August 24, with qualifying later that same day
at 4:10 PM EDT for Saturday's event. The race will be telecast
live on the NBC television network starting at 2:00 PM EDT,
Saturday, August 25. Please check your local listings. The 2 hour,
45 minute race, as well as the 20 minute qualifying session will
be broadcast live on the American Le Mans Radio Network. It can be
found on the web at www.americanlemans.com.

Now in its 13th year of competition, Alex Job Racing (AJR) is one
of the premier independent Porsche teams in the American Le Mans
Series (ALMS). Based in a brand new 16,000 sq. ft. facility in
Tavares, Florida, AJR entries have tallied three victories in the
12 Hours of Sebring, one win in the 24 Hours of Daytona, ten ALMS
wins and captured the 1999 ALMS GT Driver and Manufacturer
Championships.
