Coach Danny Ford Joins TRAC Board

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 23 Team Sports Entertainment Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TSPT) and its first
venture, Team Racing Auto Circuit (TRAC) has announced that former Clemson
Head Football Coach Danny Ford has joined their Board of Directors.
Ford became the youngest football coach in NCAA History, at age 33, to
guide a team to a national championship when his Clemson Tigers captured the
mythical crown in 1981. He had been an assistant coach at Alabama and
Virginia Tech before going to Clemson as an assistant coach in 1977. He was
named Head Coach for the Tigers for the last game of the 1978 season. In 1993
Ford became Head Coach at the University of Arkansas and held that position
for five seasons.
TRAC President and Chief Operating Officer, Jon Pritchett added: "TRAC is
in a competitive business environment and having a guy like Coach Ford on our
Board is a great addition. His competitiveness, along with his tremendous
leadership skills, will be a very important asset."
Since retiring from coaching in 1998, Ford has had a very successful
business career and currently serves on the Board of Directors for
MountainBank in Hendersonville, NC.
In addition to that, the Governor of South Carolina appointed "The Coach"
to serve a board term for the state's Department of Natural Resources.
TSEI is a sports and entertainment marketing and management company
dedicated to developing undervalued sports and entertainment properties and
discovering niche opportunities to serve underdeveloped market segments. Its
first venture is TRAC, Team Auto Racing Circuit L.L.C., a single entity sports
league developed as a new category in motorsports. Tapping into the affinity
that sports fans and civic-minded residents have for their city, state or
region, TRAC will focus on growing the existing base of stock car fans through
team-based marketing. The league will take the best sports business practices
from traditional "stick and ball" sports and leagues and combine those with
the best attributes from stock car racing (i.e., pageantry, speed and
competitive racing). The major benefactors from such a merger will be:
motorsports venues, television networks, drivers and personnel, corporate
marketers, domestic and import auto manufacturers and U.S. communities and
fans. TRAC will provide this content to its various distribution partners
through a league structure that will utilize revenue sharing, centralized
purchasing, and brand management to build asset value in local/regional teams.
With specific focus on parity, safety and cost containment; TRAC plans to
build a stock car league with innovative competition standard that will put
the competitive focus on drivers, crews and race day strategy. To learn more
