Torvec Appoints Globe-Lynx Group, Inc. as Market/Country Liaison Agent to China

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Aug. 23 Torvec Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TOVC) announced today that it has reached an
agreement with the Globe-Lynx Group, Inc. (GLG) to act as its liaison agent
for its FTV(TM) and Class 3 and 4 Cab-Over-Engine (COE) trucks in China and
Asia.
The Agreement marks Torvec's initial entry into the Asian markets. GLG
will assess the market for the company's innovative vehicles and seek
potential joint venture partners. GLG will visit several regions in China who
have shown interest in participating in this exciting opportunity. GLG
anticipates that these discussions will occur in approximately ten days.
