    RIVERSIDE, Calif., Aug. 23 Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc.
, the nation's largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles and a
leading producer and retailer of manufactured housing, today announced plans
to release results and host a conference call for its fiscal 2002 first
quarter ended July 29, 2001.  The results will be released before market on
Thursday, August 30, 2001, and the conference call will take place the same
day at 4:05 p.m. (Eastern).
    Interested participants may listen to the live Webcast of the call by

Website at http://www.fleetwood.com.  Web participants are encouraged to go to the
