American Honda Recognizes Top Suppliers for 2001

Premier Partner Program Highlights Quality And Exceptional Service
TORRANCE, CA $B!>(B American Honda Motor Co., Inc. President and CEO, Koichi
Amemiya, presented the company$B!G(Bs "Premier Partner Award" to 15 American Honda
suppliers on Tuesday, August 21. The award is presented to companies that
demonstrate excellence in quality, value and customer service. This year$B!G(Bs
award recipients were selected from 54 nominations made by American Honda
associates out of more than 1,500 eligible companies.
Two of the recipients provide services to Honda's Motorcycle Division. American
Identity was selected for their high quality corporate-branded clothing and
promotional products. Vreeke & Associates -- Honda's full service public
relations agency -- was recognized for their industry leading press materials.
The Premier Partner Award winners represent industries as diverse as rail
transportation, software development, technical support services and
advertising. The Premier Partner Awards were established in 1998 to recognize
suppliers who embrace American Honda$B!G(Bs philosophy of meeting and exceeding
customer expectations.
