Motorcraft Racing Media Relations Manager (734) 354-9046 or martir@campbellco.com LEN WOOD AND EDDIE WOOD, Wood Brothers Racing: "We have been updated by NASCAR on several occasions regarding what they learned as a result of the unfortunate deaths that have occurred in our sport this past year. They shared information with the teams on safety measures they were exploring even before the accident in Daytona. We know that NASCAR has put a tremendous amount of time and effort into these investigations. And we believe the sanctioning body will continue to explore safety options.

After seeing the information released today we believe all the evidence is there that it was a combination of factors that resulted in the death of Dale Earnhardt. We are satisfied with what NASCAR has done, and we agree that they should not jump to make changes without first looking at other problems that might arise from those changes. We fully support their efforts."
