Tecumseh Products Company Declares Regular Quarterly Cash Dividend Of $.32 Per Share

    TECUMSEH, Mich., Aug. 22 Tecumseh Products Company
announced today the declaration of a regular quarterly
cash dividend of $.32 per share payable September 28, 2001 to shareholders of
record of its Class A and Class B Common Stock as of September 14, 2001.
    Tecumseh Products Company is a full-line independent global manufacturer
of hermetic compressors for air conditioning and refrigeration products,
gasoline engines and power train products for lawn and garden applications,
and a diversified line of pumps for the retail and commercial consumer.
