Audi of America Sponsors Dallas Symphony Orchestra Pops Series
DALLAS, Aug. 21 Audi of America, Inc. is proud to announce its title sponsorship of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's Pops Series. Audi signed a one-year agreement to become the Dallas Symphony's second-largest corporate sponsor. "The Dallas Symphony Association is delighted to welcome Audi as the new title sponsor of our Pops Series," states Dr. Eugene Bonelli, president of the Dallas Symphony Association. "Audi is a company that believes strongly in creating partnerships with arts institutions of the highest quality to help them achieve their potential. We are honored that they have chosen the sponsorship of our Pops Series as the focus of their support." The Audi Pops Series showcases the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Principal Pops Conductor Richard Kaufman and some of the world's most talented musicians. Highlights of the 2001-2002 season include appearances by Linda Eder, Lou Rawls, Art Garfunkel and Jose Feliciano. GRAMMY award-winner Olivia Newton-John will make her Dallas Symphony Orchestra debut by kicking-off the Audi Pops Series on opening night, August 31, 2001. The season continues through June 9, 2002.
