TechTeam and Ford Announce Global Support Service

Ford chooses TechTeam to provide global desktop support services
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Aug. 20 National TechTeam, Inc.,
, announces an agreement with Ford Motor Company, to
provide SPOC (Single Point of Contact) support services for clients who
utilize Ford Motor Company's IT products and services. The program scope
encompasses support center, desk-side support, and program management services
for Ford Motor Company, Ford Financial, and Ford Motor Company's Premier Auto
Group. Program staff is distributed throughout North America and Europe and
the Support Centers handle support related requests from Ford Motor Company
locations around the globe.
The objective was to design a contract that was global, delivered cost
efficiencies, improved the level of service and enabled growth. This service
agreement will position Ford Motor Company IT to continue to focus on
delivering the highest quality products and service to its clients, provide
continued flexibility and achieve all set objectives. The program ensures
that all support incidents are resolved, tracked, and analyzed using common,
global practices. The common global practices result in continual focus on
incident avoidance, additional service efficiencies and further cost
reduction.
This continued global partnership between Ford Motor Company and TechTeam
Management will ensure success and expansion of the Ford Motor Company SPOC
program. The global SPOC program's success is the result of many years of
process development and dedication to service delivery excellence. TechTeam's
methodology has ensured continual process improvements and efficiency gains
that have resulted in substantial cost savings to Ford Motor Company and its
entities.
