IMPCO Named One of Fastest 50 Growing Technology Companies

and Power generation markets, has been named to Deloitte & Touche's
prestigious "2001 Los Angeles Technology Fast 50" program, a ranking of the
50 fastest growing companies in Los Angeles, Riverside, Santa Barbara, San
Bernardino, and Ventura counties.  Rankings are based on the percentage of
growth in revenues from 1996-2000 (five-year period).

    To qualify for the Los Angeles Technology Fast 50, companies must be in
business for a minimum of five years; must not be a subsidiary or division;
must have 1995 revenues of at least $50,000 and 1999 revenues of $1,000,000 or
more; must be considered a technology company, which is defined as producing
technology.  Manufacturing a technology related product, being technologically
intensive or using technology in problem solving, or devoting a high
percentage of effort to research and development of technology; must be
headquarter in Los Angeles, Riverside, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, and
Ventura counties.

    Winners of the 19 regional Fast 50 programs in the United States are
automatically entered in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 program,
which ranks the nation's top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
