17 RICKY HENDRICK, NO. 17 GMAC SILVERADO. T-Rex2. This Hendrick chassis
competed in four races this season: Loudon (4th), Milwaukee (10th), Dover
(3rd), Martinsville (9th).
20 COY GIBBS, NO. 20 MBNA SILVERADO. No. 08. Brand-new drop-snout
Silverado, has never run before testing in Nashville.
24 JACK SPRAGUE, NO. 24 NETZERO PLATINUM SILVERADO. "Bullet." Five years
old. This is its first race this year.
46 DENNIS SETZER, NO. 46 ACXIOM/COMPUTER ASSOCIATES SILVERADO. Brand-new.
"Timmy" is named after a "South Park" character. All Morgan-Dollar
Silverados are named after South Park characters, including Kenny, Timmy,
Cartman and Mr. Hankey. This Silverado chassis was tested last week at
Nashville Superspeedway in preparation for the Chicago event.
60 TRAVIS KVAPIL, NO. 60 CAT RENTAL STORES SILVERADO. No. 007. This
Silverado debuted two years ago and ran a total of six races including five
top-five finishes.. In 2001, Travis finished second at Martinsville and
sixth in St. Louis aboard "007."
75 BILLY BIGLEY, NO. 75 SPEARS MANUFACTURING SILVERADO. Brand-new truck at
last race in Nashville. "We were running real good," says crew chief Mark
Blessing, "and we broke a motor. We moved from 17th to seventh in 12 laps,
then a valve spring broke and it was a case of Œjust drive it around to the
finish.¹" It¹s "Earl¹s" brother. Earl is named after the Dixie Chicks¹
song, "Goodbye Earl."
88 MATT CRAFTON, NO. 88 FASTTRACK DRIVEWAY SEALER SILVERADO. No. 08.
"Buster." It¹s the first Silverado Matt got into, at Las Vegas testing in
2000. It¹s a top-10 Silverado: Ran Milwaukee (9th), Martinsville (6th),
Gateway (7th) New Hampshire (10th), Indianapolis (7th). "It¹s been a good
truck for him. He likes it," says crew chief Jerry Cook.
90 LANCE NORICK, NO. 90 AVENTIS BEHRING CHOICE SILVERADO. "High Boy" Last
raced at Nashville where Norick qualified 11th and finished 9th, moving him
from 14th to 12th in NCTS points. Previously raced in Dover.
