Detroit Female GM Auto Dealer to Be Featured on PBS 'Small Business School'
DETROIT, Aug. 16 Pamela Rodgers, owner of Rodgers Chevrolet will be featured this fall on the PBS program "Small Business School". Rodgers, an African-American female auto dealer, has a successful Chevrolet dealership, in Woodhaven, MI. Rodgers grew up in Detroit and continues to make the Metro-area her home. She has been very successful in the automotive industry as well as a dynamic role model to young people in the community. The Los Angeles based host, Hattie Bryant of "Small Business School" and her production crew are in Detroit, Thursday and Friday filming Rodgers in her hometown and at the dealership as Rodgers discusses the commitments she has to her business and her community. The PBS special "Small Business School" airs weekly on PBS stations across the country. It is ranked the number one small business broadcast across the country. Since 1994, with over 150 half-hour productions, today "Small Business School" is the only weekly television series about "how-to" start, run and grow a business as told by owners. Small Business School: weekly, half-hour TV show is seen on 200+ PBS-member stations and is an online school for and about small business owners who " ... create jobs, create wealth, and make the world a better place."
