Sika Announces Emergency Response Program for Auto Glass
Replacement
MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., Aug 16 The Auto Glass Replacement
Group of Sika Industry has announced a new program designed to provide all
Auto Glass Replacement (AGR) customers a means of immediately obtaining Sika
AGR products in the event of a natural disaster. Sika Industry is the
aftermarket leader in the windshield replacement industry, producing high
viscous, fast cure adhesives.
Natural disasters such as severe windstorms and thunderstorms, hail, ice
storms, tornados or hurricanes or any event that causes widespread damage to
windshields often result in a shortage of replacement materials. Sika's
Emergency Response Program will allow AGR customers to quickly enter orders
through Sika Customer Service in Madison Heights, Michigan and obtain
immediate shipment from Sika's Marion, Ohio Distribution Center. The service
will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Sika Emergency Response
Program is also available to customers whose inventories have been damaged by
a natural disaster or damaged by fire.
"It's our hope that none of our customers have to experience a disaster,"
said Sika Vice-President, John King, "but if disaster strikes, the Sika
Emergency Response Program will be there for them."
