Automotive Media Professionals Sought for New Regional Organization

    CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 15 Earlier this year, a group of
communications professionals began efforts to form a regional automotive media
group for the Southeastern United States.  Members of the group's steering
committee represented both the traditional and electronic press, as well as PR
personnel from the OEM, motorsport and Tier 1 supplier communities.  The
result of our efforts has been the creation of the South East Automotive Media
Organization (SEAMO).

    By now, most of you have heard about SEAMO, so we'll try to avoid taking
up much of your valuable summertime schedule.  However, as we'd like to hit
the ground running at full-speed with some events this fall, we need to hear
from you now, so we can form the group to fulfill your needs as a communicator
covering the automotive industry.  Your input and participation would be
greatly appreciated.
