Tiger To Play With Buick Rendezvous Bag At PGA Championship

DETROIT- As the summer launch of Buick's all-new crossover vehicle continues, Tiger Woods will play with a special Buick Rendezvous golf bag at the 83rd edition of the PGA Championship August 16-19 at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Duluth, Ga.

This bag, which debuted at the Buick Classic in June in New York, is similar to the Buick bag Woods normally carries. The name "Rendezvous" has been added underneath Buick and a red stripe was added to the collar and along the base.

"Everything we have done to launch the Rendezvous has been out of the ordinary," said Jack Bowen, Rendezvous brand manager. "Having Tiger again play with the Rendezvous bag as he defends his title adds exposure to Rendezvous' already high profile start up."

Woods, who appears in television ads for Rendezvous, tied for 16th place at the Buick Classic, 12 shots behind winner Sergio Garcia.

Woods has carried a Buick golf bag since entering into a relationship with Buick nearly two years ago. He has used the original bag in tournaments between the Classic and the PGA Championship
