Wingcast's CEO Harel Kodesh Keynotes Telematics West 2001 conference

Wingcast's CEO Harel Kodesh Keynotes Telematics West 2001 conference

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 14 Harel Kodesh, the CEO of leading
Telematics company Wingcast, will keynote the November 6-7 conference in
San Diego, CA, Telematics West 2001.
Mr Kodesh is joined as a Keynote speaker by Delhi Automotive Systems'
Mobile Multimedia chief, Dr Robert Schumacher, ATX Technologies' CEO Steve
Millstein and Fiat's Telematics director Rajesh Nellore. These industry
leaders head a prestigious program which includes senior representatives from
Toyota Motor Sales USA, Rolls-Royce & Bentley, Nissan North America, Motorola,
Microsoft, Hitachi, IBM and J.D Power and Associates, plus many more. The
full line-up of speakers is listed at website http://www.eyeforauto.com/west2001 .
The 2 day conference is being promoted by Telematics Update Magazine, the
only industry title dedicated solely to Telematics business worldwide. Editor
Tobias Webb said today "Telematics Update is proud to announce the line-up to
our latest industry conference. It really does constitute the meeting place
of the Telematics community and our last show, in Detroit this May, played
host to over 650 CEOs and senior executives."
Webb added, "By taking the show to West Coast USA, we are responding to the
recent surge in interest by Californian wireless ventures, high technology
companies and automotive suppliers. Telematics has two homes -- Detroit and
California -- and Telematics Update Magazine now offers two annual gatherings
to help generate new strategies and partnerships as the market develops."

    The program:
Attendees at this November's San Diego conference will hear about the key
issues that are driving Telematics in the USA, including:

    - What wireless networks will be able to do for quality customer service
in the short, medium and long term.
    - How to hang on to customers and save marketing dollars. Companies that
already have millions of subscribers tell how they are adding new
subscribers and keeping their existing subscribers happy.
    - The opportunities for traditional auto suppliers, consumer electronics
companies and wireless application developers to collaborate and
      partner-up.
    - What kind of open application standards we will need for future
vehicle / home / office applications.

    Who will be there?
The leaders and innovators driving Telematics forward, both as speakers
and attendees, will be represented at the conference. Because of the large
amount of networking breaks many companies send their whole executive
Telematics team. Here's how the Telematics Update community breaks down:

    - Senior automotive OEM Telematics executives
    - Telematics service providers
    - Wireless enterprises
    - Automotive electronics and systems integrators
    - Investors and Wall Street analysts
    - Press from automotive industry publications and general business
      publications
