Webraska Obtains Award From Frost & Sullivan For Its Contribution to the Automotive Telematics Industry

    MAISONS-LAFFITTE, France--Aug. 14, 2001--Webraska has been nominated by industry analyst Frost & Sullivan as one of the five companies that "have worked diligently to make a positive contribution to the automotive telematics industry" in North America.
    Webraska was attributed the 2001 Market Engineering Award following the publication by Frost & Sullivan of a report on the North American Telematics market.
    The report projects an increase of this market to $7 billion by 2007. It also indicates that the main success factor for this growth is the integration of wireless telecommunications and information technologies. More specifically, the report points out that "by facilitating an interactive exchange of data over wireless networks, telematics systems will bring vehicles and drivers into the information age".
