Andrew Sills Named OnStar Chief Information Officer
TROY, Mich., Aug. 13 Andrew Sills has been named chief information officer for OnStar Corp., effective immediately, OnStar President Chet Huber announced today. Sills replaces Bruce Radloff, recently named chief technology officer, who will now be responsible for the technology strategy and direction of OnStar in the future. Sills comes to OnStar from MCI WorldCom, where since 1997, he served as CIO for Brooks Fiber, an acquisition of MCI, and in a number of senior management roles including senior vice president of information technology and senior vice president of program management and revenue enhancement. Sills has more than 30 years' experience in information technology and brings extensive telecommunications and network experience to the company. He has been CIO for four companies, including Sprint, Alltel Corp, Moen Inc. and US One. Sills earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and business administration from Austin Peay State University in 1966 and a master's of business administration degree from East Tennessee State University in 1980.
