Metaldyne Appoints Vice President and Treasurer
PLYMOUTH, Mich., Aug. 13 Metaldyne Corporation announced today that Karen Radtke has joined the company as vice president and treasurer. In this role, Radtke will be responsible for Metaldyne's global cash management, pension asset and risk management, and coordination of the company's capital market activities. "We are delighted that Karen has joined the Metaldyne financial team," said Bill Lowe, Metaldyne executive vice president and chief financial officer. "She has an exemplary financial management history with solid expertise in executing effective financial strategies that will be a valuable asset as we continue to pursue our growth opportunities." Radtke brings over 20 years of experience in financial administration to Metaldyne. Prior to joining Metaldyne, she served as treasurer and corporate secretary of ASCET Inc., a Bingham Farms, Mich., based manufacturer of automotive, truck and aftermarket components. In this position, she was responsible for banking relationships, including cash management and credit agreements; pension investments; administration of employee benefit plans and shareholder communications. Radtke holds a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and a master of science degree in taxation, both from Walsh College in Troy, Mich. She is also a certified public accountant. Radtke will be located at Metaldyne's corporate headquarters in Plymouth, Mich.
