Museum Reaches 10,000 Member Milestone
Corvette Museum Reaches 10,000
Member Milestone
Bowling Green, KY - The National Corvette Museum has reached a significant
milestone, as total membership count to date reaches over 10,000 plus
members. Since the Museum's opening in 1994, innovative programs such as the
annual One + One campaign have helped to increase Museum membership through
the support of members recruiting new members. Over 300 new members were
recruited through this year's campaign. NCM Executive Director Wendell
Strode attributes part of this success to the positive media support that
has helped to increase awareness of the Museum. Special events and
promotions, Museum Ambassadors and Corvette Club affiliations are also
contributors to the membership increase.
As this year's campaign came to a close, a special promotion to reach the
10,000 milestone was initiated. A special award was offered to the
recruiter and new member who came in at the 10,000th mark. Fourteen
year-old Chad Hardesty of Austin, TX and recruiter, NCM member Michael
Guevara were recognized with the commemorative 10,000th member gift. "This
is a tremendous goal we have met, and was only possible because of team work
and member support," stated Membership Services Manager, Stephanie Ferrell.
"Our members are the drive that keeps the Museum moving into the future. We
owe all of the success of the 10,000th member milestone and the campaign
success to them."
Of the 10,000 plus members, 1,700 are Lifetime members of the Museum.
Museum members receive many benefits, including free admission to the
Museum, discounts on special events and happenings, Corvette Store discounts
and VIP invitations to prestigious NCM events. Many levels of membership
are available for individuals, families, businesses and children.
