Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems Names Assistant Finance
Director
FLINT, Mich., Aug. 9 Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems
announces the following personnel moves, effective immediately:
Pankaj Dhingra is named interim business line executive (BLE), energy
management systems. Previously, this position was held by Ron Pogue who is on
extended medical leave. In this position, Dhingra will have BLE
responsibility for Delphi's battery and generator product lines and report to
Robert J. Remenar, executive director of business lines, Delphi Energy &
Chassis Systems.
BLEs are responsible for business and product strategy and integration
across the functions; product success -- demonstrating passion, excitement and
entrepreneurial spirit around their respective business line; product value
stream management -- from raw material to finished goods; profit and loss for
the business product line(s); leadership of the product teams; administration
of the product development process; and program management.
Prior to this assignment, Dhingra was assistant finance director for
Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems. He also held previous positions in treasury,
new business development and new venture development within General Motors.
Dhingra earned a bachelor's degree in electric and electronic engineering
from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India in 1981 and an MBA in
marketing and finance from Columbia Business School in New York in 1992.
Laura J. Marion is named assistant finance director. In this position
Marion will be responsible for managing the financial support of the business
line organization, international operations, and portfolio process. She will
report to Joe Gumina, director of worldwide finance, Delphi Energy & Chassis
Systems. Prior to this assignment, Marion held positions as director of
financial accounting and reporting, and manager of SEC reporting for Delphi
Automotive Systems. She has also worked as an assistant controller for Kmart
Corporation and was a senior accountant for Arthur Andersen.
Marion received a bachelor's degree in business administration and a
master's degree in accounting from the University of Michigan in 1993. She
became a certified public accountant in the State of Michigan in 1995.
