Uebbing Named VP of Sales and Marketing At GKN'S Automotive Driveline Division
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 7 Joe Uebbing has been named vice president of sales and marketing for GKN's Automotive Driveline Division (ADD) with North American headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Uebbing had been vice president of supply chain management for the Americas at GKN ADD since 1997. In his new position, he will serve as global account director for Ford, DaimlerChrysler and General Motors as well as the division's senior marketing and strategy executive in the "Americas" region. He began his career with GKN in 1993 as the business unit director for Asia Pacific accounts in the Americas region. Prior to joining GKN, Uebbing spent 10 years in various management positions at Allied Signal Automotive, becoming North American business planning manager in 1992. Uebbing has a bachelor's of science in economics and statistics from Villanova University and an MBA from Duke University. Born in Pasadena, California, and raised in Chappaqua, New York, he and his wife live in Clarkston, Michigan.
