Aura Signed Corporate Distribution Agreement with Stewart & Stevenson, Adds New Regions

    EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--Aug. 6, 2001--AURA SYSTEMS, INC. (OTC BB: AURA) announced that it has signed a corporate wide distribution agreement with Stewart & Stevenson Services, Inc. . The agreement covers the marketing, selling and servicing of the AuraGen, expanding existing limited regional coverage to multiple region and branch locations in 12 states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Washington and Wyoming. Additionally S&S will service the Memphis, Tenn. metro area and the southern counties of Alabama.
    Stewart & Stevenson, with revenues in excess of $1 billion, is a leading manufacturer, distributor and service provider of a wide range of industrial and energy related equipment. "This corporate agreement consolidates into one agreement our relationship with Stewart & Stevenson and simplifies the interaction between us and the different regions across the country.
