SAXTON SIGN & T-NET NIGHT RUINED BY RAIN AT LEBANON VALLEY

AUGUST 4, 2001
WEST LEBANON, NY-Thunder can be heard at Lebanon Valley every Saturday night.
Unfortunately, this week the thunder teamed up with lightning and rain to
force the program to be cancelled. The fine folks from SAXTON SIGNS and T-NET
Taconic Technologies were on hand to sponsor this great night of racing
action. Fans will have to wait until next Saturday night to get their racing
fix. The 1st rookie pro stock feature was on the track when the rain started.
In Pure Stock races Bruce Pecorella was the winner of the "D" race and Rich
Harkins won the "A" race.
Kenny Tremont Jr. was missing from the nights scheduled racing to be by
daughter Olivia's side at the Pittsburgh Children's Hospital. Olivia has been
going through some tough times of late. The Modified drivers held a meeting
and was voted unanimously that even though Kenny would miss the nights race
he would still maintain the same margin of points over second place driver
Rich Ricci Jr. We all wish Olivia a speedy recovery and our thoughts and
prayers are with the Tremont family.
Next Saturday night BERKSHIRE BANK and TNT SALES will bring us the racing
program along with your local AGWAY stores in Chatham, Claverack and
Millerton, NY. Augie's Wholesale Cars will sponsor the Pro Stock feature. The
racing action starts at 6:15.
Don't forget the "Eve of Destruction" presented by Fox 23 TV and the
Institute for Entrepreneurship is coming up Monday August 13th at 7:30PM.
General Admission tickets are just $12 with Kids under 12 just $5. Reserved
seating is $14 regardless of age.
Lebanon Valley Speedway is located 20 minutes east of Albany, NY on US Rt. 20
in West Lebanon, New York.
