Infiniti Reports July Sales:Down 27%

    GARDENA, Calif., Aug. 1 Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan North America, Inc. today reported July sales of 5,417 units.
    Infiniti I30 led the division in sales with 2,560 units, while the QX4
luxury sport utility vehicle posted sales of 1,394 units.
    Rounding out Infiniti's lineup, the flagship Q45 luxury performance sedan
reported sales of 449 units and the G20 luxury sports sedan posted sales of
1,014 units.
    Overall, the Infiniti division reported a 27.3 percent decrease versus
last year.  Nissan North America, Inc. combined sales for July, including
Nissan and Infiniti divisions, totaled 56,725 units, a 17.8 percent decline
versus last year.
    Infiniti is supported by a network of approximately 150 retailers
throughout North America and offers a range of luxury vehicles including the
Infiniti QX4 luxury Sport Utility Vehicles, G20 sports sedan, I30 luxury
sedan, and flagship Q45 luxury performance sedan.  For more information on the
