Stealth Acquires Division of Hy-Vac Group
Expands Processing Capabilities and Capacity for Orthopaedic Implant Production HOLT, Mich., Aug. 2 Stealth Engineering & Technologies, LLC, an ISO-9002 certified leading provider of precision forging and post- processing services to the medical device, high-performance automotive and aerospace industries, recently acquired Hy-Vac Medical Technologies, a division of Hy-Vac Group. Through the acquisition, Stealth created Stealth Medical Technologies, LLC, one of just a handful of companies able to provide both forging and sintered coating capabilities to orthopaedic implant manufacturers. "This acquisition allows Stealth to offer its customers not only the high quality forgings upon which our medical business was built, but also expertise in the sintering of titanium and cobalt chromium coatings for orthopaedic implants through Hy-Vac's Sinter Stage manufacturing system," said Mike Miller, President and Manager of Stealth.
