Klaus Blickle To Head Technology focus for ASC Incorporated
SOUTHGATE, Mich., Aug. 2 Dr. Klaus Blickle has been named Chief Technology Officer of ASC Incorporated. Blickle previously was President and CEO of Cosworth Technology, a subsidiary of Audi AG. "Blickle's outstanding record of engineering management and strategic planning will have a tremendous impact on ASC's worldwide engineering strategy," said Larry Doyle, CEO of ASC. "ASC is moving forward with its plan to build a specialty vehicle and systems engineering solutions company that is second to none." Blickle will spearhead engineering activities within ASC worldwide. He will lead technical and engineering-related programs and strategies for ASC Engineering Services, ASC Vehicle Technologies and Triad Services Group. Prior to his tenure at Cosworth Technology, Blickle served as executive director of an Audi joint venture in China and completed an engineering optimization project for Audi AG in Ingolstadt, Germany. He also held strategic and operational positions with major companies in the aircraft and engineering industries. A native of Germany, Blickle completed his undergraduate and post-graduate training in physics with the University of Stuttgart, where he earned a Ph.D. and M.Sc.
