    WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--July 27, 2001--

Defined and Targeted Content From 45 New Advertising Partners and Leading Companies Including General Motors, Providian, Drugstore.com and Expedia

NetZero Inc. , a leading provider of free and pay Internet access services, today announced the expansion of its Channels partnership program.
The Channels allow for a broader, yet more targeted, range of content to be offered through various partnerships and alliances on MyNetZero, the default homepage for NetZero's millions of users.
The Channels program is designed to focus on specific vertical categories, enabling greater access to numerous content areas including auto, travel, entertainment, career, personal, finance, real estate and family, to name a few.
The auto channel, for instance, features General Motors GM BuyPower, the first, largest and most comprehensive manufacturer's automotive e-commerce site, with more than 6,000 participating dealers and more than 500,000 new GM vehicles available online, as well as finance and insurance information, a new vehicle showcase (with 360-degree virtual tours) and motorsports content.
In addition to these features, the auto channel also offers users updated automotive news from Car and Driver and Driving Today and unique automotive tools such as AC Delco's vehicle maintenance log, which acts as a personal repository for the maintenance history of one's automobile.
"Content providers recognize NetZero's massive user base and potential for reaching new consumers," stated Mark R. Goldston, chairman and CEO, NetZero. "Since we introduced the Channels program to the advertising and content communities, NetZero has signed up 45 partners to participate in the program, furthering the company's ability to generate revenue and offer our user base with easier access to relevant information."
Content providers and partners benefit from a greater horizontal landscape on the MyNetZero homepage in which to display their information. Companies that have signed on include General Motors, Providian, Ameriquest, Drugstore.com, Expedia, AuctioNet, FlipDog.com, NetFlix, Crown Holidays, drkoop.com, Monster Moving, Game House, Arcade Planet, Hotwire and Cheaptickets.
