USAC Stoops Freightliner Sprint Car Series participants will compete in a special $10,000-to-win feature event at Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon, Ind. September 8 as part of an action-packed two-night racing program on the 3/8-mile dirt oval also showcasing USAC's Regional Dirt-Track Midget Car Series.

Following a racer's hog roast and gathering on the Vernon, Ind. town square just south of the speedway on Saturday, September 8, a 40-lap Sprint Car feature event kicks off the second night of racing. Friday night's September 7 events include complete Sprint car prelims, including heat races and a semi-feature, plus a complete program of Regional Dirt-Track Midget Car racing, including a 25-lap feature.

Saturday's action concludes with another complete program of Regional Dirt-Track Midget competition, climaxing with another 25-lap main event.

These additional Dirt-Track Regional Midget Car events expand that series' schedule to nine races, with the finale scheduled October 6 at Terre Haute, Ind.

Further details of this special USAC racing weekend are being finalized and will be released when firm.
