NEW YORK--Standard & Poor's--July 25, 2001-- Standard & Poor's today assigned its ratings to Chase Manhattan Auto Owner Trust 2001-A's $1.2 billion asset-backed notes and certificates 2001-A (see list).
The ratings reflect the credit enhancement levels sufficient to cover multiples of historic losses at the triple-'A' and single-'A' rating categories; the solid credit quality of the underlying pool of automobile loans; the consistently low levels of net loss and delinquency; and a sound legal structure, Standard & Poor's said. -- CreditWire
