Kenworth Factory Installs puraDYN Filter Systems for Fort Worth Carrier
LIVONIA, Mich.--July 24, 2001--The Fort Worth Carrier Corporation of Fort Worth, Texas has arranged with Kenworth Truck Company, one of the nation's leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles, to factory-install By-Pass Oil Filtration Systems from puraDYN(R) Filter Technologies Inc. (OTC BB: PFTI) on all new trucks they order.
The announcement was made by Kevin G. Kroger, President/COO of puraDYN.
"We have enjoyed working with Fort Worth Carrier for the past six years as a partner in reducing fleet maintenance cost, saving energy, benefiting the environment and extending vehicle life," said Kroger. "Our new arrangement allows us to work together with Kenworth to ensure all new vehicles for Fort Worth Carrier are equipped to operate at optimal performance levels with substantially increased intervals between oil drains."
Fort Worth Carrier maintains a fleet of 147 large and medium trucks. Every truck in the fleet currently uses a puraDYN By-Pass Oil Filtration System. The company recently accepted an order of nine (9) new Kenworth trucks equipped with puraDYN systems that had been installed at the factory.
According to Bud Durden, owner of Fort Worth Carrier, his company uses puraDYN's filters as part of the extended life program for their vehicles. The company combines the filter's ability to remove soot and other contaminants down to 0.25 micron with synthetic oils to substantially increase engine life and oil drains.
